God's Word Is Alive!

Welcome to the Kingdom of God!

You are now God's Child if this is what you have done -

If You said the sinner's prayer, something like this.

Lord, I know that I cannot get to heaven on my own. I know that my sin separates me from You, a Holy God. God, I know that you love me. I know that Jesus Christ took the penalty for my sins on His cross. I ask that you place all of my sins on the cross of Jesus Christ, taking the punishment that I deserve. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit that I would live for you for the rest of my life. Please teach me, guide me, show me and grow me according to Your Word for your glory, purpose and delight. Thank you for making me your child!! I love you! Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ! Amen.

These are God promises for you, who have committed your life to Him

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all...For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31,32,38,39
  8. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. … If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also." John 15:9-11;18,20

What God wants from you

Practically -

Read the Bible at least 5 minutes a day.

Outline

  1. What have I learned about God?
  2. How does this change my thinking?
  3. How will I act differently because of this?

What does the passage show about God's qualities? What is the response of the person I am reading about? What should be my response to God's displayed qualities? How should I act/ think/speak today, according to God's Word, which I read?

Attend a Bible preaching church regularly.

Join a Bible study. ( www.bsfinternational.org  is a good one!)

O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. You perceive my thoughts from afar. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. Psalm 135:1,2,7,8

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. … because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! Romans 5:1-21

  6. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Col 3:23,24

Amen. Heb 13:20,21

  17. If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.
2Cor 11:30 (Therefore God will seem all the bigger, for mighty things He has and only He can do!!)
  18. But He (God) said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 2Cor 12:9
